In June 2020, Oman Mining Company issued an invitation to NFC and China Ruilin for joint pre-qualification bidding. In order to lay a solid foundation for the formal bidding work, the NFC team collected thousands of pages of project-related documents with nearly 300,000 words and 396 Indonesian national and regional specifications, and located all the documents to people, and thoroughly reviewed the business contracts before the project. Research, complete analysis and preparation of process plan, metallurgical calculation and equipment selection. After the official bidding documents were released, NFC overcame the impact of the epidemic and the time difference, and completed the bidding document with a total of more than 200,000 words, including 71 technical and business documents and 485 drawings, within three months. The quality of the bidding documents has been highly recognized by the owners in terms of content depth, precision, chapter layout and structure arrangement. After nearly three weeks of talks, with the support of domestic technical and business teams, the two parties identified the main technical solutions and the source of key equipment suppliers at the end of June, and based on this, the total contract price was determined.

Xi Zhengping, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of CNMC, attended the signing ceremony online and delivered a speech. Xi Zhengping said that after 38 years of hard work, CNMC has now become the first in China to implement the "going out" strategy, with the longest history of developing copper resources, the most complete upstream and downstream industrial chains, the largest number of overseas copper projects, and the largest output of overseas copper products. one of the Chinese-funded enterprises.
