Qingshan Wetland Ecological Comprehensive Improvement Project

The first-phase ecological comprehensive improvement project of Qingshan Wetland is one of the key projects started this time. The Baili Yangtze River Ecological Corridor is an important part of the spatial structure of "One Core, Two Axes Showing Landscapes and Rivers, One Corridor and Ten Pieces" in the "Wuhan City Two Rivers and Four Banks Plan", and it is also one of the top ten highlight projects in Wuhan. Among them, the Qingshan section has two important sub-projects: the reconstruction of the river beach gate and the landscape improvement project (the section from Jianshe No. 8 Road to Wufeng Gate), and the comprehensive ecological improvement project of Qingshan Wetland (the section from Wufeng Gate to Bajifu Street).

According to reports, the Qingshan Wetland Ecological Comprehensive Improvement Project is about 12 kilometers in length and plans to invest about 1.7 billion yuan. The project will be constructed in two phases as a whole, of which the first phase covers the section from Sinopec Diesel Terminal to Bajifu Street, with a total length of 11.08 kilometers. The main contents are the dike ecological improvement project, the shoreline ecological comprehensive improvement project, the natural wetland project and the water diversion project. The implementation scope of the second phase is from Wufeng Gate to Sinopec Diesel Terminal, with a total length of 1.18 kilometers.

On the same day, Qingshan District set up a sub-venue at the 31st Neighborhood construction project site. The project is adjacent to the 27th block in the east and the 35th block project under construction in the north. The planned net land area of the project is 64,300 square meters, with a total investment of about 5.38 billion yuan, including high-rise residences and community supporting houses, and a kindergarten with a scale of 12 classes and a construction area of not less than 3,600 square meters.
