On February 17, 2022, Sinopec Guangzhou (Luoyang) Engineering Company and Algerian National Oil Company formally signed the general contracting project contract for LNG storage tank engineering.

According to the contract requirements, the consortium formed by Guangzhou (Luoyang) Engineering Company and International Petroleum Engineering Company will undertake the EPC general contract construction of the project. The contract value is about 183 million US dollars and the contract duration is 40 months. An EPC project general contracting project.

It is reported that the project is located in the port of Skikda, Algeria. The construction content is to dismantle two original LNG storage tanks of 76,000 cubic meters and build a new full-capacity LNG storage tank with a capacity of 150,000 cubic meters and its supporting facilities on the original site. After the project is completed and put into use, it will further improve the LNG export capacity of Algeria National Oil Company.
