Saudi-based real estate developer Umm Al Qura for Development and Construction said it has signed an agreement with Al Diar Al Arabiya Company to build 10 new residential towers in the Masar residential community development within the city of Mecca.
In a statement, the developer said its vision for the development and investment of the urban destination is aimed at enhancing the quality of life for residents of Mecca, as well as for pilgrims and Umrah pilgrims. It features a strategic location in the heart of Saudi Arabia. It added that the development centered on King Abdulaziz Road was carefully planned with complementary and interrelated foundations, both environmental and urban.
Masar is located on an area of 1.25 million square meters in Mecca, with a 3,650-meter-long boulevard that acts as a natural extension of the Mecca Mosque, as well as green spaces, and many integrated cultural and social facilities. It also includes two shopping malls, as well as five-, four- and three-star international hotels and serviced apartments. Once completed, the project will provide 33,300 parking spaces.
According to Umm Al Qura, the plans take into account the geological aspects of Mecca, especially in the implementation of utilities such as car park facilities, telecommunications, electricity and sewerage networks.Editor/XingWentao
