As a consortium, CRRC Tangshan Company undertakes the first urban railway in China, the S1 line of Taizhou urban railway, which will help the city to form a comprehensive transportation system. The first phase project of Taizhou City Railway S1 Line is the first domestic railway project that adopts the PPP model and has been implemented. The total length of the line is 52.4 kilometers. There are 15 stations on the whole line, including 7 underground stations and 8 elevated stations.
