Project Overview

The project will build a new 2×1000MW ultra-supercritical direct air-cooled heating turbo-generator unit. The main construction contents include main and auxiliary production projects and environmental protection systems, construction of high-efficiency desulfurization, denitrification, and dust removal facilities to achieve ultra-low and ultra-clean flue gas emissions, comprehensive utilization of ash and slag, and waste water recycling to achieve "zero" emissions. The total investment of the project is about 8.35 billion yuan.

It is reported that the first phase of the project will install 4 × 50MW air-cooled extraction steam heating units, equipped with 5 × 240t/h circulating fluidized bed boilers. The construction started in May 2004, and it was fully put into operation in December 2006; it passed the environmental protection acceptance in January 2008. The second phase of the project is to install 2×330MW direct air-cooled extraction and condensing units, equipped with 2×1165t/h circulating fluidized bed boilers. The construction of the project started in July 2011, and the two units were put into operation in March 2014. In December 2016, it passed the environmental protection acceptance.
