Recently, the 800,000-ton/year PVC project for the relocation and transformation of Tianjin Bohua Chemical Industry Co., Ltd., undertaken by China Construction Installation No. 1, was successfully put into operation at one time, marking the full start of trial production of the Tianjin “two chemical industry” relocation project. After full operation, the production capacity of the PVC reaction unit will reach 800,000 tons/year, which will further optimize the layout of the petrochemical industry in Tianjin, promote the national petrochemical industry planning and the coordinated development of Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei, and promote Tianjin Nangang Industrial Zone to build a world-class petrochemical base. Provide a "model" for the relocation and transformation of hazardous chemical enterprises in densely populated urban areas across the country. Among them, the EPC general contracting project of the special tank farm undertaken by CSCEC has been put into use in November 2021, and the contracted 100,000-ton/year hydrogen peroxide general contracting project is in the stage of linkage debugging.

From saline-alkali tidal flats to nine connections and one leveling, from rare to many tower tanks, thousands of CSCEC installers have worked day and night to overcome one node after another, driving the project in the gear rotation of the spirit of "military soul and ingenuity". The rapid landing and shaping will promote the development and change of Tianjin Nangang Industrial Zone.

The Tianjin Chemical Factory and Tianjin Dagu Chemical involved in the relocation project are national comprehensive large-scale chemical manufacturing enterprises. The original factory area is located in the densely populated Hangu and Tanggu, surrounded by many petrochemical factories, and the people are complaining. In order to break the dilemma of "chemical siege", in 2018, the Tianjin Municipal Government fully implemented the "two industrialization" relocation strategy and built a comprehensive chemical base in the sparsely populated Nangang District.
