It is understood that the Deyang Chuanfa Lomon lithium battery new energy material project covers an area of 800 acres and will be constructed in two phases. The first phase is expected to be completed in December 2024, and the second phase is expected to be completed in December 2026. The main construction contents are projects with an annual output of 200,000 tons/year of lithium iron phosphate, 200,000 tons/year of iron phosphate and supporting products.

Lithium is known as white oil, an energy metal in the 21st century, and an important strategic resource. With the rapid growth of global new energy vehicles, it provides a wide range of application scenarios for the development of the lithium battery industry. The 10th Plenary Session of the 11th Provincial Party Committee proposed that Sichuan Province will accelerate the development of the lithium battery material industry, build an internationally competitive lithium battery material industry base, and entrust Deyang with major tasks such as "building a world-class clean energy equipment manufacturing base".

As one of the 100 key promotion projects in Sichuan Province, the project will rely on the abundant clean energy in Sichuan Province, lithium resources in Aba Prefecture, Sichuan's industrial development advantages, the advantages of Chuanfa Lomon's fine phosphate technology and the advantages of a circular economy development model. Taking advantage of Sichuan's comprehensive advantages in phosphate rock, lithium ore, vanadium-titanium-magnetite and hydropower, and with the support of the "sulfur-phosphorus-titanium-iron-lithium" circular economy green process, phosphorus and lithium resources are collected to produce iron phosphate, a new energy material Lithium cathode material, realizing strong chain, complementary chain and extended chain.
