Recently, as vehicles loaded with 5MW semi-direct drive generators slowly drove out of the Zhuzhou Wind Power Base Plant, CRRC Zhuzhou Electric Co., Ltd. successfully delivered the first batch of generators for Mingyang Smart Vietnam’s Ca Mau 350MW offshore wind power project.

This project is Mingyang's first overseas and offshore delivery project in 2022. The project is located in Ca Mau Province, the southernmost tip of Vietnam, with a planned installed capacity of 350MW and plans to deploy 75 wind turbines with a single capacity of 5MW. It is currently the largest offshore wind farm construction project in Southeast Asia.

The 5MW semi-direct drive permanent magnet wind turbine supporting the project adopts an environmental protection insulation system resistant to salt spray environment, modular magnetic pole structure, high "anti-demagnetization" magnetic circuit design, efficient copper tube water cooling structure, with high anti-corrosion level, Features and advantages such as high reliability, high integration, high maintainability, high efficiency, low temperature rise, low noise, and low vibration.Editor/Ma Xue
