Recently, CCCC Road Construction won the bid for the Yunnan Yuxi Airport Expressway project with a bid amount of about 3.7 billion yuan and a construction period of 3 years.

The project is located in the central urban area of Yuxi, Yunnan Province. It is the main horizontal fast connection channel between the central urban area of Yuxi and the proposed Yuxi Airport. It starts from the vicinity of Yanhe Station in Hongta District, and runs eastward through the rear end of Yuxi Airport and Chengchuan Expressway. The main line is about 41.06 kilometers long. The main construction contents include roadbed, pavement, bridges and culverts, tunnels, intersections, soil and water conservation construction and defect repair, cultural landscape, greening, environmental protection, housing construction, mechanical and electrical engineering, etc.

Yuxi Airport Expressway is one of the key projects of expressway construction in Yuxi City during the "14th Five-Year Plan" period. In addition to directly serving the operation and development of Yuxi Airport, the project has the function of a main trunk highway in the regional road grid bureau, serving as the main road for the urban agglomeration in central Yunnan. The provision of long-distance, large-capacity and high-speed transportation services between Yuxi central urban area and Yuxi Airport is of great significance to promoting the development of the "one core and two cores" urbanization between Hongta and Jiangchuan in Yuxi City.
