According to the agreement, the three parties will invest in the construction of power battery industry chain projects in the FHT Industrial Park in East Hamahela County, North Maluku, Indonesia and other related industrial parks in Indonesia, with a total investment of no more than US$5.968 billion. The project mainly builds battery industry chain projects from laterite nickel ore development, pyrometallurgy, hydrometallurgy, ternary battery materials to battery recycling and ternary battery industry integration, including 6 sub-projects in total. The construction period is expected to be 5 years. The implementation of this project is conducive to further improving the company's strategic layout in the lithium battery new energy industry, giving full play to the advantages of industrial synergy, ensuring the company's battery material supply, promoting the company's goal of full life cycle management of retired power batteries, and controlling costs to enhance product competitiveness.
