The Jakarta-Bandung high-speed railway has a total length of 142 kilometers, and the main track has a total length of 279.4 kilometers. Among them, the ballast track section is 112.8 kilometers, and the ballastless track is 166.6 kilometers, all of which use domestic 50m steel rails. The domestic steel rails are transported to the Yawan High-speed Railway Track Laying Base in Bandung County by domestic railway, sea and railway in Indonesia. Using a full set of domestic equipment and advanced pulse flash welding technology, the 50-meter steel rails are welded into 500-meter-long steel rails.

The start of track laying on the whole line of the Jakarta-Bandung high-speed railway is an important node in the construction process of the Jakarta-Bandung high-speed railway, marking a solid step in the track laying of the entire line. At present, 12 of the 13 tunnels of the Jakarta-Bandung high-speed railway have been completed, more than 91% of the civil engineering has been completed, more than 80% of the box girder has been erected, and 74.6% of the 500-meter finished long rail has been welded.
