The system can precisely control the drill bits several kilometers underground to "target" the oil layer, "smell" the oil-smelling drill, and even "remotely drive" the drill tool to stably travel more than 1,000 meters laterally or obliquely in the thin oil layer of 0.7 meters. At the same time, it can realize real-time analysis of stratigraphic data, which is an important magic weapon to greatly reduce the development cost of oil and gas fields and efficiently develop offshore oil and gas resources, representing the highest level of drilling and logging technology development in the world today.

Shang Jie, the technical leader of the "Xuanji" system and general manager of the Oilfield Technology Division of COSL, said that the "Intelligent Manufacturing Chain" of the "Xuanji" system was completed and put into production, marking China's ability to cover scientific research in the fields of rotary steerable drilling and logging while drilling. The mature capability of integrating production, sales and service has effectively guaranteed the independent and controllable domestic high-end technical equipment.
