In the Umm Al Hayman area of Kuwait, the Kingdom of Petroleum, the tritium sewage flowing out of the pipeline has become a major nuisance to the local environment, which has seriously affected the quality of life of the local residents, which has also made the local government determined to treat the sewage. To make pollution control work once and for all, the local government plans to build a modern sewage plant. They will look for contractors around the world to undertake this project to ensure the high quality of sewage treatment plants. Soon, a German company named WTE Wassertechnik GmbH emerged from the many candidates and finally won the right to construct a local sewage treatment plant, and signed a US $ 1.1 billion engineering contract with the local government.
As the main contractor, Germany's WTE Wassertechnik GmbH will be responsible for the design and construction of the sewage treatment plant, and will cooperate with other contractors to build a 450 km sewage transportation network, including the pumping station. The scope of work includes the construction of a new sewage treatment plant within the current Umm Al Hayman water purification plant to treat wastewater with an initial daily average flow of 500,000 cubic meters, and the construction of 450 kilometers. Construction of sewage and treated water pipelines and substations. The daily capacity of the sewage treatment plant will be designed to be 200,000 cubic meters, and upon completion, the daily processing capacity will reach 700,000 cubic meters.
