On April 20, 2022, Peruvian time, Hydropower International Peru, a subsidiary of POWERCHINA, officially signed a contract for the renovation of the Huancayo Liberty Hospital in Peru with the government of the Junin Region, the owner. According to reports, this is the 11th hospital project signed by POWERCHINA in Peru and the 3rd hospital project implemented in Junin Province. The signing of this project is another important achievement of POWERCHINA's deep cultivation of the Peruvian market.

The renovation project of the Liberty Hospital in Huancayo, Peru is located in the urban area of Huancayo, Junin Province, Peru. It includes a 5-story main building and 4 1-story annex buildings with a total construction area of 12,178.19 square meters and a total of 36 beds. The project construction period is 18 months. The main work includes: structure, construction, installation of sanitary facilities, electrical installation, mechanical installation, communication installation and supply and installation of medical equipment.

In the future, after the completion of the Huancayo Liberty Hospital renovation project in Peru, it will further improve the local medical and health service system, effectively alleviate the problem of medical service gaps, improve the medical conditions of local residents, and substantially benefit about 500,000 people in the region.
