At 13:39 on April 26, the 21,053 "China-Laos-Thai" international cold chain trains carrying 64 standard boxes and full of grains such as malt, vegetables and candy slowly entered the border inspection area of the Mohan railway port. 2 fields and 1 lane in the inspection area. The police of the railway port duty team at the Mohan Border Inspection Station quickly carried out an all-round and detailed inspection of the train, and went through the exit formalities for the driver of the outgoing train. At 13:57, the inspection of the outbound train was completed, and the train whistled and departed slowly towards the Laos direction of the China-Laos Friendship Tunnel.
It is reported that this outbound international cold chain train departed from Shenzhen Pinghu Hunan Railway Logistics Park at about 11:00 on April 21. It is the first international cold chain train bound for Laos and Thailand in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. It is also the first "China-Laos-Thailand" cold chain round-trip train in South China. The launch of this train marks the official opening of a new international cold chain logistics channel between the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and the ASEAN region. This international cold chain train is expected to arrive in Vientiane, Laos in 2 days and Thailand in 4 days. After the goods arrive in Laos and Thailand safely, the train will also return high-quality tropical fruits from Thailand and import them to mainland China through road-rail combined transportation.
The opening of the "China-Laos-Thailand" international cold chain train has enriched the land transportation route from the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area to ASEAN, and further strengthened the agricultural trade cooperation between China and ASEAN countries.
