Inner Mongolia lithium iron phosphate cathode material project started
- The investment of the project is 13.5 billion yuan, which will help the development of Beijiang Green Hydrogen City
On April 29, 2022, in Ordos Zero-Carbon Industrial Park, Inner Mongolia, Huajing New Materials Co., Ltd.'s 300,000-ton lithium iron phosphate cathode material project officially started construction.
The project has a total investment of about 13.5 billion yuan and a total land area of 635 mu. It mainly builds a 300,000-ton/year cathode material lithium iron phosphate production line, auxiliary facilities and related buildings and facilities. In the future, after the project is completed, the company can achieve an annual output of 300,000 tons of lithium iron phosphate cathode material, which will be widely used in new energy vehicle power batteries, large energy storage batteries and other fields. According to the current market price and technical conditions, the project can achieve an average annual output value of about 30 billion yuan, pay taxes of about 960 million yuan, profits and taxes of about 3.6 billion yuan, and employ about 1,800 people.
In recent years, Ordos has been guided by ecological priority and green development, the implementation of the "dual carbon" goal, the construction of the entire industrial chain, and the construction of a zero-carbon industrial park as the carrier. Simultaneously introduce leading enterprises of wind-solar hydrogen storage vehicles and upstream and downstream supporting projects, fully promote the integrated development of the industrial chain, innovation chain, and supply chain, accelerate the creation of a new energy industry cluster with a scale of 100 billion, and take the lead in blazing a new path for green and low-carbon development. Huayou Holding Group is one of the top 500 companies in China and a global leader in lithium battery materials. It has an integrated industrial chain of resource development, material processing and recycling, and occupies an important position in the global new energy materials industry. The construction of Huajing Project is a joint effort of the government and enterprises to extend the industrial chain, and is a specific action to promote green and low-carbon development.
