Since the opening and operation of the China-Laos Railway, China Railway International Co., Ltd. and China Railway Kunming Bureau Group Co., Ltd. under the China National Railway Group Co., Ltd., together with the Laos-China Railway Co., Ltd., have scientifically analyzed the needs of passenger travel and freight transportation, continuously increased investment in transport capacity, and coordinated Epidemic prevention and control and transportation organization, domestic and overseas Fuxing, "Lancang" EMUs and ordinary-speed passenger trains are running safely and stably, freight categories continue to increase, and freight volume grows strongly.

First, the freight organization model was further innovated, and the freight volume increased strongly. Since its opening, especially since April 2022, the cross-border e-commerce cargo carried by the China-Laos Railway has continued to increase. In view of the characteristics of high value, many categories and strong timeliness of this type of goods, Kunming Bureau Group Co., Ltd. actively explores a new transportation organization model of "Lanmei Express Line + Cross-border E-commerce", and actively coordinates the Kunming Comprehensive Bonded Zone to improve cross-border e-commerce. The packing operation process outside the cargo station improves the transportation time. In more than 10 countries and regions such as Cambodia and Singapore, the categories of goods have expanded from rubber, fertilizers, and general merchandise in the initial stage to more than 100 kinds of electronics, photovoltaics, communications, automobiles, and flowers.

Second, passenger capacity continues to increase and travel options become more diverse. In response to the diverse travel needs of the Laotian people, the Laos-China Railway Company will open more low-fare Vientiane to Boding regular-speed buses with a speed of 120 kilometers per hour when the Lao people celebrate the New Year of Songkran on April 13, 2022. The EMU trains from Vientiane to Luang Prabang and Muang Sai will improve the passenger capacity and provide diversified travel options for the people along the line. Focusing on the travel and festival travel needs of people in Xishuangbanna, Pu'er and other places along the domestic section, the Kunming Bureau Group Company accurately implemented "one map per day" and dynamically increased the number of EMU trains. At present, the Laos section of the China-Laos Railway operates 6 MMU trains and 2 ordinary-speed passenger trains every day; the domestic section operates an average of 36 passenger trains a day, with a peak of 65 trains, and the passenger capacity and travel options continue to increase.

Third, the operation management has been continuously strengthened, and the passenger and cargo service experience has been continuously improved.
