Recently, the construction of the Luonan-Lushi (Shaanxi-Henan) expressway project started. According to reports, the project is a key transportation project in Shaanxi Province. It is planned to complete an investment of 500 million yuan in 2022 and is expected to open to traffic in 2025.

The Luonan to Lushi (Shaanxi-Henan boundary) expressway is located in Luonan County. The five town offices of Hao, Chengguan, Baiyu Temple and Lingkou have a total length of 55.19 kilometers, a design speed of 100 kilometers per hour, two-way four-lane, and a roadbed width of 26 meters. It is planned to set up 5 interchanges (including 1 hub interchange and 4 interchanges), 4 ramp toll stations, 1 service area, parking area, management sub-center and maintenance work area, with an estimated total investment of 7.064 billion yuan.

The project is implemented in PPP mode and operated in BOT mode. The franchise period is 33 years, of which the construction period is 3 years and the operation period is 30 years. After the completion of the Luonan-Lushi (Shaanxi-Henan) expressway, the status of Shaanxi Province as a transportation hub province will be strengthened. Editor/He Yuting
