The groundbreaking ceremony for the third phase of the Namibian Capital International Airport Expressway, aided by the Chinese government, was held in Windhoek, the capital of Namibia, on the 9th.

In recent years, China has provided more than 20 aid projects in Namibia, covering agriculture, transportation, border defense, medical care, public governance and other fields. China is assisting Namibia in expanding its road network and striving to realize the transportation vision and goals in Namibia's 2030 National Development Vision Plan. According to reports, the road project of the Windhoek Hozia Kutako International Airport is divided into three phases, with a total length of 45 kilometers, which are constructed by different Chinese construction companies, of which Jiangxi China Coal Group is responsible for the third phase. The total length of the third phase of the road is 21.3 kilometers, including three interchanges, and the contract construction period is 36 months.
