On the morning of May 9, 2022, the first international intermodal train (Russia-Chongqing-Guangxi) of the new land-sea passage slowly departed from Chongqing Jiangjin Xiaonanya Railway Logistics Center. This train loaded 25 containers with a value of over 4 million RMB, all of which are daily necessities produced locally in Russia.

The train departed from Ust-Ilimsk, Russia, entered China from the Manzhouli port, and after arriving in Jiangjin, Chongqing, it was regrouped and assembled directly to Guangxi through the new land-sea passage. The whole journey is expected to take about 18 days, which is more than before from Russia to Guangxi directly by sea. Save 15-20 days. The launch of the train connects the new route between Europe and South China, and enriches the freight channels and personalized services of the new land-sea corridor.Editor/Ma Xue
