On May 8, 2022, the steel guide beam on the Shaanxi side of the Linyi Yellow River Bridge constructed by the Fourth Company of China Railway Construction Bridge Bureau (Southern Company) was pushed up to the 99-meter-highest pier No. 68 of the main bridge, successfully achieving a 128-meter large cantilever roof. After pushing through the pier, the steel box girder jacking construction on both sides of the bridge has officially entered the stage of continuous assembly and cyclic jacking.
The Linyi Yellow River Bridge and its lead project are the control node projects of the National Expressway Hebao Line G3511. The core box assembly of steel beams on the Shaanxi side of the bridge has been completed in 12 segments with a total length of 125 meters. This time, a total of 9 segments with a length of 98.7 meters were assembled and welded at the jacking platform. The total length of the jacking steel box girder and the guide beam was 294.25 meters, and the jacking weight was 3853 tons. This time, 50 meters of jacking have been completed, and the cumulative jacking has been completed 240 meters.
Up to now, 45% of all construction tasks of the Linyi Yellow River Bridge project have been completed, including 573 pile foundations of the main bridge, 17 pile foundations, and 12.1 pier bodies. There are 15 pile caps for construction, and 26.57 piers for construction. The steel box girder on the Shanxi side was pushed up 291 meters; the steel box girder on the Shaanxi side was pushed up 240 meters.Editor/Ma Xue
