In the vast countryside, it is impossible to walk without these things in rainy days. Except for the official road, the rest are all muddy trails with twists and turns. The common people cultivated and harvested, cut firewood against the water, and all walked on such small roads. People carry dung to the fields, harvest crops and carry them home, go up mountains to chop firewood, go down rivers to carry water, and even grind and grind rice and other daily chores, all of which are not cheap at all. Carrying heavy objects, going uphill and downhill, with trembling legs, day after day, year after year, Lushan people have lived like this for thousands of years.
In the early 1950s, the highway from Feixianguan to Renjia and Lushan to Zhenxishan was built. The lane is four or five meters wide and can be used for chicken buses and frame cars. After its completion, it has indeed alleviated the suffering of the common people. The heavy things can be pulled by the cart, and the light ones don't need to be uphill or downhill. But if it rains, it's still muddy. The wheels were stuck in the mud, unable to push or pull, and it was miserable.
In 1958, the section from Feixianguan to the county seat on Feibao Road was completed, and Lushan had a road that could pass cars. After 1958, there were several more simple roads in the territory. In the mid-1980s, the road from Feixianguan to the county town was adjusted and expanded, and a cement road was built in the early 1990s. From the late 1990s to the early 2000s, several roads in the territory leading to towns and towns were also renovated, and the traffic conditions in Lushan were greatly improved, but the people in many places still could not change the difficulty of walking on rural and mountain trails.

Today's Lushan, the highway network covers the mountains and plains, villages and towns. Not only townships and villages, but also every settlement. What is even more gratifying is that all the hills, valleys and fields related to the production and life of the villagers are connected by roads. For thousands of years, the time when the people of Lushan relied on shoulders and backs to make a living has come to an end.
Today's people in Lushan use battery cars, motorcycles, and even small trucks when they go to work in the fields and cut trees in the mountains. Planting crops, transporting fertilizers, harvesting grains and going home, no one has to carry them anymore. The people in the mountainous areas who rely on the mountains to eat the mountains are no longer worried about the bamboo, wood, medicinal materials, etc. that cannot be transported to the mountains. In the past, the bamboo and wood that the people in the mountains cut down in their own forests cost more to transport out of the mountain forest than the value of the bamboo and wood itself, and the bamboo and wood planted by hard work was basically no profit at all. Today, the road leads directly to the forest, and the bamboo and wood that have been felled can be loaded on the car in the same place, which not only reduces the labor intensity, but also makes money. Forestry has become a substantial source of income for the people of Lushan Mountains.
Shantoushan has communicated with the car, and the people of the mountain village are the direct beneficiaries. Now the people of Lushan Mountain Village, because of the cheap and convenient transportation, the small foreign houses are more beautiful than each one in the post-disaster reconstruction. In addition to the development of bamboo, wood and medicinal materials, the people also develop rural tourism by virtue of the beautiful natural scenery and pleasant climatic conditions of mountain villages, and the business of farmhouses is booming. This was something I never thought about before.
The road network reconstructed after the Lushan disaster is like the blood vessels of the human body. The main roads running through the county are the aortas, and the rural roads all over the area are the capillaries. The blood vessels are open, and the whole body is harmonious; the roads are open, and the people are rich. A national highway 351 runs through the whole territory of Hemao, making the small village with traffic congestion like an island into a model of rural revitalization and enriching the people of this side. After the completion of Line 351 in Siyan Town, modern industry, modern agriculture and other business models have developed rapidly, the economic structure is no longer a single grain cultivation, and the income level of residents has been greatly improved. Dachuan Town has also become a recognized wellness and summer resort and the back garden of Chengdu due to its convenient road traffic, cool climate and beautiful natural scenery. In summer, more than 100 farmhouses in the town are full of tourists. The widening and reconstruction of Provincial Highway 210, Qionglu Road and Lingbao Road, and the passage of tunnels have made Lushan more convenient to connect with the outside world. With the completion of several tourist loops, the beautiful scenery of Lushan is no longer a virgin land hidden in the boudoir and no one cares about it. It is attracting foreign tourists with its graceful form and bringing endless benefits to the local people.
