On May 11, 2022, the first full-curve pipe section E15 of the Dalian Bay Subsea Tunnel constructed by CCCC First Navigation Bureau was successfully installed. So far, the mileage of the subsea section of the Dalian Bay Subsea Tunnel and Guangming Road Extension Project has reached 2,591 meters.
The E15 pipe section is the first full-curve section of the entire line. The axis of the immersed tube is 148 meters long, 33.4 meters wide, 9.7 meters high, and weighs about 47,000 tons. The slope of the pipe section reaches 0.65%, which is the largest in the curve section.
The floating installation work was officially started at 6:00 in the morning. After successively completing the tugboat formation, floating, mooring, sinking, pulling, hydraulic crimping and other procedures, the docking with the E14 pipe section was successfully completed at 19:26 on the same day. , it takes about 13.5 hours.
Faced with technical problems such as the large width of the channel occupied by the curved pipe section, the asymmetrical position of the tugboat, and the difficulty in controlling the attitude control of the ship and the pipe, the project team optimized the installation and sinking steps, adjusted the implantation distance of the butt end, and strictly Calculated the process of pipe section settling and preparation for ballast, and finally achieved precise docking.
After the installation of the E15 pipe section is completed, the construction of the subsea immersed pipe section of the Dalian Bay Subsea Tunnel and Guangming Road Extension Project will usher in a construction acceleration, and the project team will make every effort to promote the installation of the remaining three pipe sections and final joints.Editor/Ma Xue
