Project Overview

The Baotou-Huinong section of the high-speed railway from Baotou to Yinchuan is located in the Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region and the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. It is the main channel for the exchange of tourists from western Inner Mongolia and the four northwestern provinces and regions with Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei and northeastern regions. The Bao-Hui section of the Bao-Yin high-speed railway leads from Baotou Station, passes through Bayannaoer, Ordos, Wuhai City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, to Huinong South Station, Shizuishan City, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region. The total length of the line is 420.2 kilometers, with 9 stations. The design speed is 250 km/h. Among them, the length of the line in Ningxia is 17.3 kilometers.

The branch line from Yinchuan to Bayanhot is located in Yinchuan City of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region and Alxa League of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. The line starts from the subgrade section at the south end of Yinchuan Station of the Yinxi High-speed Railway, which is divided up and down. It goes through Jinfeng District, Xixia District and Yongning County of Yinchuan City, crosses Helan Mountain to the territory of Alxa Left Banner, and passes through Barun Bieli Town to the end point of Bayanhot. The length of the main line in Ningxia is 36.694km, the length of the relief line is 4.58km, and the length of the reconstructed Baolan line is 1.81km. Design speed 200 km/h.
