Wang Jiujun, as the deputy director of the Transportation Safety Department of China National Railway Group Beijing-Zhangjiakou Intercity Railway Co., Ltd., and his team designed the Beijing-Zhangjiakou high-speed railway to start from Beijing North Railway Station, burrow into the ground after 1,000 meters, and pass through Beijing in a tunnel. After five days and nights of continuous fighting, the Tsinghuayuan Tunnel finally successfully crossed Beijing Subway Line 10, and the top subsidence was controlled to 0.8 mm. "Tsinghuayuan Tunnel is a controlled project of the entire Beijing-Zhangjiakou high-speed railway line, and whether its construction period can be achieved is a key part of the entire construction period." Wang Jiujun said.
In August 2019, the Beijing-Zhangjiakou High-speed Railway Badaling Great Wall Station, the most complex high-speed rail station with cavern group structure in China, was successfully capped.
On December 30, 2019, the Beijing-Zhangjiakou high-speed railway was put into operation. "When the scenery outside the car recedes, every time you pass a place, you can think of a group of people and a story. That sense of gain is something ordinary people can't understand."
