Wang Jiujun, as the deputy director of the Transportation Safety Department of China National Railway Group Beijing-Zhangjiakou Intercity Railway Co., Ltd., and his team designed the Beijing-Zhangjiakou high-speed railway to start from Beijing North Railway Station, burrow into the ground after 1,000 meters, and pass through Beijing in a tunnel. After five days and nights of continuous fighting, the Tsinghuayuan Tunnel finally successfully crossed Beijing Subway Line 10, and the top subsidence was controlled to 0.8 mm. "Tsinghuayuan Tunnel is a controlled project of the entire Beijing-Zhangjiakou high-speed railway line, and whether its construction period can be achieved is a key part of the entire construction period." Wang Jiujun said.

In August 2019, the Beijing-Zhangjiakou High-speed Railway Badaling Great Wall Station, the most complex high-speed rail station with cavern group structure in China, was successfully capped.

On December 30, 2019, the Beijing-Zhangjiakou high-speed railway was put into operation. "When the scenery outside the car recedes, every time you pass a place, you can think of a group of people and a story. That sense of gain is something ordinary people can't understand." Wang Jiujun said, "From following to running and then to leading , the higher the railway development, the more difficult it is, but the more you go, the more rushing you are, and you can only see good scenery when you climb higher.”Editor/Ma Xue
