The project has been approved by the Provincial Development and Reform Commission, and the preliminary design of the project and the preliminary land application for approval are in progress. It is expected that the project will be fully constructed within the year, with an estimated total investment of about 16.654 billion yuan.

Project Overview

The route of Xingang Expressway Shuangliu Yangtze River Bridge and its connection project starts near Liudafang Bay, Xinzhou District, Wuhan City, and connects the Huangpi to Xinzhou section of the planned Wuhan Metropolitan Ring Expressway. After crossing the Yangtze River on the east side of the ditch, it ends at Ezhou. Near Chaitang Village, Huarong District, City, connect the completed Huanggang to Ezhou Expressway.

The total length of the project is about 34.69 kilometers, and the design speed of the whole line is 120 kilometers per hour. Among them, the Shuangliu Yangtze River Bridge (main span of 1430 meters suspension bridge) adopts the standard of two-way eight lanes with a subgrade width of 41.5 meters, and the rest of the sections adopt a two-way six-lane standard with a subgrade width of 34 meters. lane standard.

The project has a total of 7 interchanges, 5 ramp toll stations, 1 monitoring sub-center, 1 service area, 1 maintenance area, and necessary traffic engineering and facilities along the line. The construction period of the project is 48 months, and the estimated total investment amount is about 16.654 billion yuan.

The planned supervision and related service period of the project is 2,250 calendar days, of which the construction period is 1,520 calendar days.
