The industrial measurement and testing center is another major investment of Weichai Power following the successful construction of the State Key Laboratory of Internal Combustion Engine Reliability and the National Fuel Cell Technology Innovation Center. It benchmarks against the international first-class level, with an investment of 2 billion yuan and an area of 33,000 square meters. It will be put into use on February 9, 2022. Weichai Power was deployed five years ahead of schedule. After more than two years of intense preparation, it successfully passed the expert defense and on-site evaluation with the first overall score among 14 application units across the country, and was fully affirmed and quickly approved by the State Administration for Market Regulation.
