On May 18, 2022, Gansu Economic Information Network released the announcement of the pre-qualification results of the social capital party bidding for the PPP project of the G341 Line Jiaonan-Haiyan Highway from Huachi to Shiligoukou. Shandong Road and Bridge Group Co., Ltd., China Highway Engineering Co., Ltd. Consulting Group Co., Ltd. and other units have passed the qualification examination, and the total investment of the project implementation plan is 12.46 billion yuan.

Project Overview

The project consists of two projects of the G341 line from Huachi to Shiligoukou and the Wujiao to Huaian Highway in Huachi County. The starting point of the main line of the G341 line from Huachi to Ershiligoukou is located on the south side of Dianliang, Huachi County, and the end point is at Ershiligoukou of Huanxian County, connecting with the section from Ershiligoukou to Chelu Yaoxian of G341 line. The route is 98.75 kilometers long, and the Tiejiao City connection line of 6.77 kilometers and the East Laoye Mountain connection line of 4.45 kilometers are constructed simultaneously. The main line adopts the technical standard of two-way four-lane first-class highway, and the connecting line adopts the technical standard of second-class highway. The construction period is 3 years, in 2021. On December 6, the Provincial Department of Transportation approved the approval, with an estimated total investment of 12.686 billion yuan. The starting point of the Wujiao to Huaian project is located in Wujiao Town, Huachi County, and the end point is located in Huai'an Township, Huachi County. The route is 17.63 kilometers long.

Section G341 from Huachi to Shiligoukou. The total mileage of the route is 98.746 kilometers. There are 91 bridges of 32,570 meters across the line, including 3,331 meters of extra-large bridges, 82 of 28,825 meters of bridges, and 6 of 414 meters of middle bridges. There are 6,410m/7 tunnels, including 4,835m/4 long tunnels, 770m/1 medium tunnel and 805m/2 short tunnels. There are 5 interchanges on the whole line, 2 main line toll stations, 1 maintenance work area, 1 PPP project company office, 2 service areas, 1 parking area, 2 tunnel management stations, and 2 connecting lines.

The section from Wujiao to Huaian Highway in Huachi County. The starting point of the project is selected to connect with K78+465 of Line S506 in Wujiao Town, and the end point of the project is selected to be connected with Line G341 in Huaian Township. It is constructed according to the three-level highway standard, and the route is 17.288km long. The design speed is 40km/h, two-way two-lane, roadbed width is 8.5m, 725m/5 large and medium bridges and 114m/4 small bridges are newly built; 96m/2 bridges are repaired, of which 96m/2 are used for maintenance.
