On May 18, 2022, the signing ceremony of the strategic cooperation agreement between Hebei Xiongan Rongwu Expressway Co., Ltd. and National Energy Group Xiongan Energy Co., Ltd. was held in Xiongan New Area, Hebei. The two parties will set up photovoltaic power generation facilities by using the Rongwu Expressway New Line high-speed rail split subgrade middle belt, high fill subgrade slope, toll station outer wall, intelligent construction base roof and other locations, which can provide 53 million kilowatts of clean electricity every year after operation. It brings significant energy-saving, environmental and social benefits. The new Rongwu Expressway will also become the first expressway in Hebei Province that utilizes road resources to build photovoltaic power generation facilities and realize grid-connected power generation.Editor/Ma Xue
