Recently, the Henan Provincial Government's Purchase Service Information Platform released the announcement of the winning bid for the Xiangshuitan Pumped Storage Power Station Investor's Bidding Project. The project was won by Xinjiang Xinhua Hydropower Investment Co., Ltd., with a total investment of about 8.28 billion yuan.

Project Overview

Zhumadian Xiangshuitan pumped-storage power station is located in Chenglou Village, Banqiao Town, Yicheng District, Zhumadian City. The initial installed capacity of the power station is 1.2 million kW, and four single-stage mixed-flow reversible pump-turbine units with a single unit capacity of 300,000 kW are installed.

After the project is completed, it will solve the problem of peak regulation in southern Henan, meet the rapid growth of electricity demand under the new situation, and promote the task of carbon peaking and carbon neutrality in our province.
