On May 20, 2022, Shandong Public Resources Trading Center released the announcement of the winning bid for the reconstruction and expansion project of Dongying-Qingzhou Expressway. The project consists of Shandong Road and Bridge Group Co., Ltd., Shandong Hongchang Road and Bridge Group Co., Ltd., and Shandong Ludong Road and Bridge Co., Ltd. The consortium won the bid with a bid price of 7.47 billion yuan.

Project Overview

The reconstruction and expansion project of Dongying-Qingzhou Expressway has a total length of about 88.7 kilometers. The main line of the project adopts the technical standard of two-way eight-lane expressway, with a design speed of 120 km/h and an overall roadbed width of 42 meters. The whole line has 1 extra-large bridge, 13 bridges, 8 middle bridges, 8 small bridges, 25 separate interchanges, 96 passages, 3 overpasses, 101 culverts; 11 interchanges; 1 expanded service area, newly built 1 parking area; 1 existing maintenance work area is used for renovation, 1 new maintenance work area is used, and 1 existing monitoring and communication sub-center is used for renovation. The estimated investment is about 12.976 billion yuan, and the construction period is 36 months.

Subgrade engineering, pavement engineering, bridge and culvert engineering, intersection engineering, drainage engineering, protection engineering, traffic safety facility engineering, pre-buried pipeline engineering, greening of central divider belt, toll plaza and earthwork of various functional areas, field roads, flood control and remediation engineering, etc. All construction contents indicated in the bidding drawings.
