Qichun East Section of Qitai Expressway

The project route of the Qichun East Section of Hubei Qichun to Taihu Expressway starts from the vicinity of Chenyinglong Village, South Zhulin Town, Qichun County, connects the Qichun West Section of Qichun Expressway and Mayang Expressway, passes through Liuhe, Shishi, Zhanglong, and Datong Townships and ends. It is located near Zhangshuwan, Nianxia Village, east of Tanlin Town (the border between Hubei and Anhui provinces), and is connected to the Anhui section of Qitai Expressway. The total length of the project is about 50.511 kilometers. The whole line adopts the standard of two-way four-lane expressway with a design speed of 100 kilometers per hour and a subgrade width of 26 meters. There will be 5 interchanges, 4 ramp toll stations, 1 monitoring and management sub-center, 1 service area, and necessary traffic engineering and facilities along the line. The construction period is 36 months, and the estimated total investment is 6.977 billion yuan

In the future, with the implementation of the construction of the eastern Qichun section of the Qichun Expressway, it will further improve the national and regional expressway network, improve the external traffic conditions in eastern Hubei, and promote the revitalization of the old revolutionary area in Dabie Mountain and the economic and social development along the line.
