The Chi-Huang High-speed Railway runs from Chizhou Station in Anhui Province to Huangshan North Station. It is an important part of the Wu-Hangzhou Express High-speed Railway Network. It has a total length of 125.1 kilometers and a designed speed of 350 kilometers per hour. The terrain along the line is complex and the scenic spots are connected. Taiping Lake Bridge is a controlled project of the whole line of Chi-Huang high-speed railway. The bridge spans Taiping Lake from north to south, with a total length of 926 meters, of which the main bridge is 788 meters long. At 228 meters, it has created the largest span among the multi-tower low-tower cable-stayed bridges of the domestic high-speed railway.
