The China-Singapore (Chongqing) Strategic Connectivity Demonstration Project "New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor" runs through the western region of China and connects Southeast Asia and Eurasia. The strategic channel with multiple economic effects created by cooperation is a public product and public service provided to the western region of China and ASEAN countries.

The cooperation plan proposes that by 2025, a new land-sea channel for efficient, convenient, open, smooth, safe, stable and competitive trade logistics, industrial cooperation and scientific and cultural exchanges between western China and ASEAN will be basically established, and a new mechanism for transnational and cross-regional cooperation will be initially formed. ; In 2025, the total trade volume of Chinese provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities) along the new land-sea corridor with ASEAN is expected to reach 180 billion US dollars, the railway-sea combined transport container volume of the channel will reach 500,000 TEUs, and the cross-border railway trains will reach 2,000, basically achieving up and down. The cooperation plan proposes five areas of cooperation, namely, promoting cooperation in trade, promoting cooperation in industry, deepening cooperation in infrastructure and supply chain logistics, enhancing cooperation in financial services and investment, and strengthening digital construction of channels.
