On June 10, 2022, the People's Government of Tuquan County, Xing'an League, Inner Mongolia, and Huaneng Mengdong Company held the signing ceremony of Huaneng Tuquan 1.1 million kilowatt wind power project. County leaders Zhang Shuangcheng and Wang Yongjia, Jiang Peng, general manager of Huaneng Mengdong Group, and relevant persons in charge of relevant departments under the county and Huaneng Mengdong Company participated.

At the symposium, the two sides conducted in-depth exchanges on new energy projects. It is understood that Tuquan County and Huaneng Mengdong Company established a cooperative relationship in 2019. The 300,000-kilowatt wind power project currently under construction will achieve an annual output value of 188 million yuan and a profit and tax of 40 million yuan after the project reaches production. At the same time, Huaneng Mengdong Company actively undertakes social responsibilities and invests 14 million yuan to help the rural revitalization of Tuquan County, providing strong support for the economic and social development of Tuquan County. The two sides expressed that on the basis of the good cooperation in the early stage, they will take this signing as an opportunity to further strengthen cooperation and close cooperation, and promote the deepening of cooperation matters.

Huaneng Mengdong Company will make every effort to complete the project construction and strive to make the project a model of cooperation between central enterprises and local governments. Tuquan County will continue to optimize the business environment, be the "second shop" for service enterprises, and make every effort to provide supporting services to achieve complementary advantages, mutual benefit and win-win results, and common development.
