On June 14, 2022, the construction of the Laizhou branch of key projects in Yantai City, Shandong started, and the construction of the first phase of Shandong Huadian Laizhou Tushan 600MW photovoltaic power generation project officially started. According to reports, as the largest single-scale photovoltaic power station built in the province, the project plans to have a static investment of 2.831 billion yuan and a dynamic investment of 2.87 billion yuan, covering an area of about 13,000 mu.

Shandong Huadian Laizhou Tushan Phase I 600MW Photovoltaic Power Generation Project is located in the vicinity of Yinhai Chemical Park, Tushan Town, Laizhou City, Shandong Province. The current construction is 600MW. It is expected to put into operation 200MW in advance on November 30, and in December 2023, the full capacity will be put into operation and connected to the grid. EPC general contracting The unit is China Huadian Technology Group Co., Ltd. It is planned to install 1,258,712 photovoltaic modules with a peak power of 540Wp, and install 3,048 string inverters with a rated power of 196kW. The annual total solar radiation in the site area is 5,243.76MJ/㎡, the average annual on-grid electricity is 865,391,700 kWh, and the average annual equivalent utilization hours are 1,273.19 h.

According to reports, the project adopts photovoltaic storage integration technology to effectively improve the ability of new energy projects to participate in power grid peak regulation, and at the same time adopts the current industry-leading PERC double-sided photovoltaic module construction; the project can save about 400,000 tons of standard coal per year on average and reduce emissions. 829,000 tons of carbon dioxide, 159.6 tons of sulfur dioxide, 178.5 tons of nitrogen oxides, 31.9 tons of smoke and dust were reduced, and the environmental protection benefits were outstanding.
