The Xinyue West Tunnel has a total length of 6,218 meters. It has passed through 18 sets of different types of strata. There are also 5 fault zones in the area. Karst, rock burst, large deformation, mud and water, sand gushing and other situations often occur during construction operations. extremely difficult. At present, only the Emei-Mianning section of the Chengdu-Kunming Railway is under construction. After the completion of the Xinyue West Tunnel, it will lay a solid foundation for the entire line to be completed and opened to traffic on schedule.
