On March 28, 2022, after 120 days of hard work, the new Chongzuo-Pingxiang Railway Nongmiao Tunnel constructed by China Railway Shanghai Engineering Bureau was successfully completed.

Nongmiao Tunnel is located in Longzhou County, Chongzuo City, Guangxi. It is a single-hole double-track tunnel with a total length of 174.67m, a design speed of 250km per hour, and a maximum buried depth of about 39m. The V-level surrounding rock section of the tunnel adopts the three-step temporary horizontal method. IV The excavation of the surrounding rock section shall be excavated by the step method.

The main line of the newly built Chongzuo-Pingxiang railway is 81.12 kilometers long, with bridges and tunnels accounting for 86.16%. There are 4 stations including Chongzuo South Station, Ningming East Station, Longzhou Station and Pingxiang East Station on the whole line. The construction period is 3.5 years. , is a major project coordinated and promoted by Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region.
