According to reports, the Heilongjiang Shangzhi pumped storage power station project is located in Shangzhi City, Heilongjiang Province, an old revolutionary area, with a total installed capacity of 1.2 million kilowatts, four 300,000 kilowatt pumped storage units installed, and two 500kV lines connected to the Heilongjiang provincial network, with a total investment of 83.58 It is planned to be put into operation in 2029 for power generation.

As the second large-scale pumped-storage power station in Heilongjiang Province and the first pumped-storage power station project approved and started construction in Heilongjiang Province during the 14th Five-Year Plan period, the Heilongjiang Shangzhi Pumped-storage Power Station project will optimize the local power supply structure and promote new Energy consumption, alleviating the pressure of system peak regulation, and improving the flexibility and adaptability of system operation; smoothing the new development pattern of domestic large-scale circular services, stimulating economic growth and promoting high-quality development; improving the overall economy of the system, promoting energy conservation, emission reduction and air pollution Prevention and control, drive local economic development, and achieve the optimal allocation of social resources as a whole; improve the safety and reliability of the power system, give full play to the role of stabilizers, regulators, and balancers in the power system, and improve system operating characteristics.
