Recently, the Fuzhou Airport Second Expressway Project constructed by Fuzhou Airport Double-Line Expressway Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Zuohai Group, crossed the Minjiang River Estuary National Wetland Park Ecological Impact Assessment Demonstration Meeting was held in Changle Minjiang River Estuary National Wetland Park Museum. The expert group and representatives of various units went to the project site Minjiang River Estuary National Wetland Park for site survey, and after learning about the wetland park involved in the second expressway line of Fuzhou Airport in detail, an expert evaluation and demonstration meeting was held immediately.

At the meeting, the expert group and representatives of all participating units listened carefully to the introduction of the "Economic Impact Assessment Report of Fuzhou Airport Second Expressway Project on Fujian Changle Minjiang Estuary National Wetland Park" by the provincial forest survey institute, which was compiled, and combined with the project and surrounding wetlands involved Conduct a comprehensive and systematic review of the park land use, and provide professional opinions on the impact of wetland parks. After thorough research and discussion by representatives of all parties involved, combined with expert opinions, the meeting agreed that the depth of the report was in line with the requirements, the content was complete, and the demonstration indicators were basically reasonable, and it passed the review smoothly.

Fuzhou Airport Second Expressway

The second expressway project of Fuzhou Airport starts from the interchange of Maweiting River hub. The route passes through Changle Houyu, Tantou, Wenling, Hunan, and finally ends at Fugang Road. The total length of the route is 24.3 kilometers. The main line adopts the standard construction of two-way six-lane expressway. The design speed is 100km/h, and the roadbed width is 33.5m. A side road is set up from Tantou Town to the end of the route. It adopts two-way four-lane secondary road and municipal function standard, with a total length of 11.9 kilometers and a design speed of 40km/h. The estimated total investment of the project is 9.763 billion yuan.

The construction of this project is of great significance for optimizing the layout of the regional backbone road network, promoting the interconnection of transportation infrastructure in the coordinated development zone in northeastern Fujian, accelerating the development of Fuzhou New District, serving local economic and social development, and building the Fuzhou metropolitan area.
