On July 14, 2022, the Hunan Provincial Public Resources Trading Platform released the announcement of the winning candidates for the preliminary survey and design of the Liuyang-Jiangbei, Xuguang Expressway Chating Interconnection to Changsha Ring Expressway. The project is organized by: Hunan Provincial Transportation Planning Survey and Design Institute Co., Ltd. The consortium won the bid, with a total investment of about 9.08 billion yuan.

Project Overview

Liuyang-Jiangbei Expressway: The starting point of the route is located in Chayuan Bay, and it is connected with Liuhong Expressway in the form of hub intercommunication. , Zhangjiawuchang, Hejiawuchang, set up interchange S207 at Gejia, cross Pingru Expressway on Zhaigongpo, connect with Jiangbei-Ganshan Expressway under construction in Hengchongli, and connect with the existing single speaker The intercommunication constitutes a double-horn hub intercommunication, with a route mileage of 25.644km. Main control points: Chayuan Bay, Taiping Bridge, Gejia, Jinyuan, Hengchongli. The whole line adopts the standard construction of two-way four-lane expressway. The design speed is 100km/h, the width of the roadbed is 26m, and the total length of the main line is 25.644km; the other connecting line is about 2.6km, and the total investment is about 4.263 billion yuan.

Xuguang Expressway Chating Interconnection to Changsha Ring Expressway: The route starts from 1 km south of Xuguang Expressway Chating Interconnection, the route goes southeast, passes through the south side of Chating Town, and crosses Furong North Road at Chenjiachong to Qiaoyi Town On the north side, cross the Shahe River and the Beijing-Guangzhou Railway on Changhuzhou, set up a tunnel in Shenxianling, intersect with Qingzhuhu Road at Guangsheng Bridge, and then set up a viaduct along the existing Zhongqing Road to the Laodao River on the Ring-city Expressway. Connected to Changsha Ring Expressway, the whole line adopts the standard design and construction of two-way six-lane expressway, with a design speed of 120km/h, a subgrade width of 34m, and a total length of about 22.773km.
