The Chuanshan District Government of Suining City and Shenzhen Liye Group Co., Ltd. signed an investment cooperation agreement. Liye Group will build a lithium battery production base project with an annual output of 39GWh (100 million watt-hours) in Suining. With an investment of 13.6 billion yuan, the project is currently the largest single battery packaging project in Suining.

The project fills the gap in the power supply of new energy heavy trucks in the Sichuan-Chongqing region, and will greatly improve the on-site conversion rate of key materials for lithium batteries, injecting strong impetus into Suining's efforts to build the capital of lithium batteries. According to the main person in charge of the Chuanshan District Committee, after the completion of the project, the annual output value is expected to be about 30 billion yuan, the annual profit will be about 4 billion yuan, the annual tax revenue will be about 1 billion yuan, and about 5,000 jobs will be provided.
