The planned investment of the project is 7.26 billion yuan, and the power generation efficiency, coal consumption indicators and environmental protection indicators of the units have reached the world advanced level. The project not only has the advantages of coal-electricity joint operation, but also has the advantages of power grid location. It is an important supporting power source for Hunan Power Grid to build a 500kV "three-dimensional double-ring network". It can effectively improve the power grid structure, enhance the security and stability of the power grid, and effectively guarantee the central city of Changsha. grid and electricity supply in Hunan Province.

The project will sprint for the National High-quality Project Gold Award with the "six first-class" construction standards, and strive to achieve "double investment" in 2024. After the project is completed, the company will become the largest thermal power plant in Hunan Province with a total installed capacity of 3.86 million kilowatts, with an annual power generation capacity of 20 billion kilowatt-hours and an estimated tax payment of 800 million yuan.

Along with this project, a 2 million kilowatt new energy project will be built simultaneously.
