On July 30, 2022, at the construction site of the No. 2 extra-large bridge across Provincial Highway S207, the first box girder of the first project of the first section of the Harbin-Yichun high-speed railway section of the northernmost high-speed railway in China, which was participated by the China Railway 22nd Bureau Group, was successfully completed. Erection, the project has shifted from offline construction to a new stage of simultaneous offline and online construction, and the construction process has been accelerated in an all-round way.

Located in the central part of Heilongjiang Province, the first project of the Railway-Yihai section is an important part of the Haitian high-speed railway, with a total length of 111.4 kilometers and a design speed of 250 kilometers per hour.

Haiyi high-speed railway is the first high-speed railway in China to cross permafrost areas. There are 14 island-shaped permafrost zones, including rich frozen soil, multi-frozen soil, saturated frozen soil, and soil-bearing ice layers. The builders overcome the geological problems. Due to the complex conditions and the low temperature environment in high-latitude winter, the first domestic high-speed rail bridge permafrost pile foundation construction was completed, and the "double-layer casing structure for bored pile construction in permafrost section", which was summed up in innovation, has obtained a utility model patent. , has accumulated valuable experience for the construction of bored piles in China's permafrost section.

"At present, we have completed the prefabrication task of 124 box beams. Considering the climate characteristics of Yichun throughout the year, we will increase the investment in materials and machinery and equipment to ensure the task goal of erecting 2 box beams per day on average, which is expected to be completed before the end of the year. The task of erecting 9 bridges in the first direction." said Yang Zhong, chief engineer of the Yichun beam making field.

After the completion of the Hai-Yi high-speed rail line, the running time of passenger trains from Harbin to Yichun will be shortened from the current 7 hours to about 2 hours, which will play an important role in further improving the high-speed railway network in Northeast China.Editor/Ma Xue
