According to reports, the section from Bayan Obo to Guyang of National Highway 210 is a key infrastructure construction project implemented by the country and the autonomous region this year, and it is also an important land passage for Baotou City that runs through the north and south and connects border ports. The section from Bayan Obo to Guyang of National Highway 210 starts from the Bayan Obo mining area, connects with the Manbai section of National Highway 210, passes through Xihe Township of Damao Banner, Xingshunxi Town of Guyang County, and finally Jinshan Town of Guyang County.

The total length of the project is about 89.4 kilometers, and it adopts the standard construction of two-way four-lane first-class highway. There are 25 large and medium bridges, one interchange, one main line toll station, one service area and one maintenance area. The total investment of the project is about 3.3 billion yuan.
