A few days ago, a reporter from Seedao.com learned from the review meeting on the pre-feasibility study report of the Guigang pumped-storage power station held in Guigang, Guangxi that Guigang City will build the Guigang pumped-storage power station with a total investment of more than 8 billion yuan and a preliminary installed capacity of 1200MW. .

The review meeting examines and approves the pre-feasibility study report of the Guigang pumped storage power station project, and determines the necessity and economic and technical feasibility of the project construction. According to reports, Guigang Pumped Storage Power Station is a key project implemented during the "14th Five-Year Plan" period in Guigang City, with a total investment of more than 8 billion yuan. The project site is located in Genzhu Town, Gangbei District. The upper reservoir is located in the depression on the south side of Shanglongloutun, Genzhu Town, and the lower reservoir is located in the Beitan River Valley on the south side of Xiashiguitun, Genzhu Town. The pivot project consists of upper reservoir, lower reservoir, water delivery system, underground powerhouse and switch station, etc. The initial installed capacity of the power station is 1200MW.
