As of 2:20 on August 3, 2022, China's first one-million-kilowatt offshore wind farm, the Three Gorges Yangjiang Shapa Offshore Wind Power Project, will produce more than 2 billion kWh of clean electricity in 2022.

The total installed capacity of the project is 2 million kilowatts, and a total of 315 offshore wind turbines, 4 offshore booster stations and nearly 1,000 kilometers of submarine cables are arranged, which can provide about 5.6 billion kilowatt-hours of clean electricity for the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area every year, which can meet the The annual electricity consumption of about 2.4 million households has continuously injected green energy into the development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.

The project has set a number of records such as "the world's first" and "China's best", which has driven the coordinated development of China's entire offshore wind power industry chain, and played a demonstration and leading role in the development and construction of deep-sea large-capacity offshore wind power projects:
