In the first half of 2022, the cargo throughput of coastal ports increased by 0.1% year-on-year, the growth rate was the same as that in January-May; container throughput increased by 3.0% year-on-year, an increase of 0.7 percentage points from January-May.

Cui Xiaojian, deputy director of the National Marine Information Center of the Ministry of Natural Resources: The development of marine transportation is generally stable. All coastal regions have actively smoothed the port collection and distribution system, eased cargo pressure on ports through land-to-water, river-sea combined transport, etc., and continued to expand external routes to ensure smooth transportation and stable supply chains.Editor/Ma Xue
