On August 9, 2022, the 7th Hubei Province and Central Enterprises Project Matchmaking Fair was held in Wuhan. 93 major projects were signed on the spot, with a total investment of about 575.3 billion yuan. On the same day, 7 regional headquarters of central enterprises and important subsidiaries were settled in Wuhan and unveiled.

The projects signed this time mainly focus on new-generation information technology, new energy, new materials, high-end equipment manufacturing, biomedicine, energy conservation and environmental protection, major infrastructure, modern finance, trade and logistics, etc. The proportion of primary and tertiary industry projects increase, and high-end manufacturing has grown rapidly.

Among them, strategic emerging industry projects (new energy, green building materials, ecological environmental protection, equipment manufacturing, new generation information technology, biomedicine) accounted for more than half of the total number of signed projects, with a total investment of 272 billion yuan, accounting for 47.3% of the total investment;

22 major infrastructure projects (road bridges and tunnels, area development, thermal power generation) with a total investment of 218.7 billion yuan, accounting for 38% of the total investment;

There are 20 modern service industry projects (modern finance, business logistics, commercial real estate, modern agriculture, culture, tourism, health care, etc.) with a total investment of 84.6 billion yuan, accounting for 14.7% of the total investment.Editor/Ma Xue
